Teslas Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is now rolling out in Europe. As of June 2026 the system is approved in the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark and Belgium. New owners get a 30-day free trial as soon as the car is updated and ready. A full EU rollout is expected in Q1 2027.
Where is FSD approved now?
FSD (Supervised) has received national approval in these European countries:
- Netherlands
- Lithuania
- Estonia
- Denmark – approved 9 June 2026
- Belgium – approved 10 June 2026
More countries are being added as national approvals fall into place.
30 days free – try FSD on your own car
As soon as your Tesla is updated and ready, you get a 30-day free FSD trial. You can experience city driving, Navigate on Autopilot and Autopark without paying – and decide afterwards whether to subscribe.
💡 The 30 free days start automatically once your car receives the FSD update – no purchase required to try it.
EU-wide rollout – expected Q1 2027
Tesla expects FSD (Supervised) to be available across the EU in the first quarter of 2027, as the remaining national type-approvals are granted. The five countries above are the first wave.
Safety – what the data shows
Based on Dutch real-world data, FSD (Supervised) shows clearly fewer collisions than manual driving:
- 3.4× fewer collisions on the motorway
- 1.6× fewer collisions on other roads
What is FSD Supervised?
FSD is officially called FSD Supervised. The car handles steering, braking, lane changes, junctions and parking – but you must keep your hands ready and watch the road at all times. Legally it is a level 2 driver-assistance system, not a self-driving car.
